Getting traffic to your website is one of the more difficult prospects of running a website. I came across a free website submission service called FreeWebSubmission.com that submits your website to twenty search engines. You enter your website address and e-mail, click the verifications link in the e-mail you receive, and your site is entered in the search engines crawls.

Some of the search engines will want you to verify their e-mail links as well. BE CAREFUL some of these site will want to add you to a mailing list. Make sure you read what you are agreeing to. Also some of the search engine will offer guaranteed listing for a fee. I never pay for listings. You can if you want, but I prefer not to.

I know that there are more submission services available and I will add them as I come across them. This is just one of the many available.
